Chavez PTO Community Events

Take a night off from cooking and support Chavez! Each month, the PTO partners with a local restaurant that donates a portion of proceeds to our school. Enjoy a great meal while giving back to our community!

4K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade students and their caregivers are invited to a night of reading, fun, and creativity. Students will have the opportunity to participate in themed stations while caregivers can learn tips on building literacy at home. RSVP by 1/30 to receive a take home reading kit.

Join us for a day of excitement at the Chavez Fun Fair! Enjoy bounce houses, face painting, games, delicious food, and more. Bring the whole family for an unforgettable day of fun!

Get ready to run, walk, and cheer at the Cheetah Chase! This fun-filled 1-mile event brings our school community together to support Chavez while staying active. Lace up your shoes and join the race!

Join us for a fun and rewarding garden workday! Our wonderful garden leads, Katy and Shandra, will be there to guide spring projects in both the front and back gardens. If you have them, please bring your gardening gloves, tools, wheelbarrows, or extra cardboard—it’s great for weed suppression! No experience needed—just your time and enthusiasm. Celebrate creativity at our 2nd annual Chavez Community Art Fair! This special event showcases artwork from our talented students around the school during conference week. Join us for a week of art, inspiration, and community fun!

Bring the whole family for a night of music, movement, and Chavez cheer! We’ll have a lively dance floor plus fall-themed fun like crafts, face painting, and more surprises. All grades and grown-ups welcome!
